I'm still here... still photographing. I've been a tad bit on the quiet side lately...only due to the fact that I am in the midst of the Holiday rush.. AND...I am still photographing. (not for the holiday's though!)
This time of year is big for newborns for me. I get my fair share. Most mom's appreciate the fact that I am pretty patient. I can sit for quite a while...as I was once in their shoes (umm...4 times at that with toddlers in tow!)
As a photographer.. I tend to notice other photographs at times.. (..I know... obviously!) Well I am very over the newborns on dressers...in between candles...on any sort of furniture piece within the living room... family room.. While I like it still.. sometimes...I wanted to stop. The little one just gets so lost in the midst of "stuff" sometimes. I needed to go back to simplicity.
I have so many newborns waiting to be born this year. (I ask that pregnant moms call to "tentatively" book their date based on their due date...) There are even clients that are due on Christmas Day. (Although... H... I know you went to the OB today...my fingers are crossed that you are at least 4 cm!)
Anyways... Here are some newborns I had recently. I just had to get away from the baby on the ledge...and go back to...just the baby....with an "airy atmosphere" as one of my clients prefers to describe "blurring the background" haha!
This one cracks me up...because it definitely shows their personalities!
Thats all for now!

Please take note of the following info...
I will be closed from 12/21 - 12/27. I will return phone calls and emails upon my return. I will be in Miami from 12/29 - 1/9. Voice mails and emails will be answered upon my return.
January..
I know I haven't placed my January calender on line yet, however that hasn't stopped the phone calls. (thank you!) January is just about booked. I have a few select weekdays available. The first weekend of February is booked. Even though I haven't posted my calender just yet...it is perfectly fine to call/email and inquire on dates.
I have a new website in the works! You might even see two different versions...and my calender will be up to date once the new website launches.
People often ask "how far in advance can I book?" You can book as far in advance as you would like. I usually know my travel schedule in advance and I will mention it now...and repeat it as the dates grow closer...or as I add new dates. So for those who want to get on my schedule now...
In April -
I will be out of the office during the week of April 7th - 16th. I will be out of town, so voicemails and emails will be returned after that time.
I have speaking engagements to other photographers during June and July....
In June I will be out of the office from 6/22 - 6/30. I will be out of town, so voicemails and emails will be returned after that time.
In July I will be out of the office from 7/15-7/20 and then again from 7/26- 7/31. I will be out of town, so voicemails and emails will be returned after that time.
Loft...
My natural light loft is just about complete. I know some of the Ford kid parents have been able to see it...and the reviews have all been positive. I am excited to offer this as a possible venue for those who prefer not to use their home for portraits...or for those who have had me at their homes too many times that they prefer a change! ha-ha! I will post pictures once every piece, and every image is hung. Even though I do not have all the furniture pieces in the loft (almost though!) the reviews from not only the parents...but the KIDS have been great! I wanted kids to be super excited when they walked in..because if they weren't excited...then what is the point? My 8yr old little boy client this past Wednesday told his mom that he wanted to live at my loft. How sweet!! Now THAT is the response I want!
So pictures will be coming soon!
Maternity mom's who want me to photograph their newborn(s)...please...please call to give me your due date so that I can add it to my schedule. During the months of December, January, and February are big newborn months for me...and I would like to make sure I have time to accommodate everyone. So call while you're still pregnant! I prefer to capture the babies 2 weeks and younger.
On a side note...
I had to send one of my laptops back to the manufacturer because the motherboard "fried". I used this particular laptop to download emails while I was on the road. Well.. there were LOTS of emails that downloaded to that laptop that I can no longer access until I get my laptop back.
Im pretty sure I've touched base with any client that emailed me...but didn't hear from me. However, if you have sent me an email...but haven't heard from me within a day or so...please email me again! I know I had a large number of photographers (or those who want to get into photography...) email me during that timeframe. If you are a photographer that emailed me...but never heard from me... please send your email again. There is a chance that I am not able to retrieve it.
Session Albums...
We shipped out a large number of session albums earlier on Thursday. We still have quite a few to get out. If you are waiting on a session album rest assured that you will have it within the next few days.
Until next time...

TOO MUCH....
They are just too much...
too cute,
too tiny,
and too precious...
these pictures make me want to pick them up and rock them to sleep...ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AUDREY!
I especially LOVE the one of the two of them together....that totally made me giggle! You just hardly ever get that from newborns...much less twins!

Your photography is always an inspiration to me. The simple ones are just gloriously beautiful. The twin shot, showing personality, makes me laugh with how so adorable it is!!
