So I had this CUTE toddler recently. (I told you I had a lot of toddlars recently...) He had other plans....you know.. like most 20 month olds do. They have their own agenda..and somewhere.. we adults have to fit in.
Meet "C"...
He ended up going through a period where nothing really made him feel content. I tried many, many games with him.
...nothing....
So I had to take off my photographers hat... and I had to put on my "Boy Mom at". I had to really think... what would my boys enjoy? What would help bring that little spark in their eyes?
I remembered that earlier...his Mommy showed me this cute little"slicker" that she bought him a little while ago. She mentioned how much she loved it. Then it dawned on me later..
Water..
Puddles..
a MESS..
That would make him happy!
Look at that face!!!
Now who has to know that we had to create the scene?
:::shush::: Don't tell! It was a beautiful almost 70 degree day here in late NOVEMBER! The right light...and a water hose can go a long way.....

I am SO enjoying all of the toddler photos. I love them ALL so much!! I laughed OUT LOUD when I saw the picture the "mom" took. I've tried to give my camera to my mom and told her my Canon was "idiot proof" and somehow the woman STILL can't get the people in the frame!! And the one of the boy in the puddles. PERFECTION!!! In my son's case, give him a pile of sand and he's there for days!!
